The timer on my microwave runs faster than the one on my range though. Different clock speed chip, or different power draw.

COOL!!Old tyme kitchen timers---today most folks just use their Smartphones.
Well, I really just see ones that only go up to 60-Minutes that are real flimsy & cheap, although some have creative designs... My mother-in-law gave me her old one which worked good, but it fell (out of my daughter's two-year-old hands), so I'd been searching for one like this over those last years...
It's nice to get it new & never-used, too--as at least this is how it seems to be, though I haven't used it yet... I need it for when I'm mixing something to have the timer set for a few seconds & then a few minutes as the speed on my mixer progresses--the timer on my stove that can only be timed in minutes doesn't offer that flexibility and it & my microwave timer are too far away...
Me, being the neat freak I am, strategically placed those packing peanuts real carefully, too...
