I replaced the drive shaft o-ring in my 1971 A606 Washer last year. It was seeping oil, so I rebuilt the transmission completely. I was so happy with the work I did, and the washer was working perfectly. Last week, I started to see oil dripping from the chassis edges on the floor, and it looks like the o-ring failed.
I noticed in the forum that the "factory replacement" parts might not be the exact size. I am wondering if anyone has the correct size (OD and ID) so that I can find the proper O-ring. Alternatively, if you have a great source and part number I would be glad to just order it.
As you all know, it's a total disassembly to get to the o-ring, so I really only want to do this one more time.
