Thanks for the input. I am most likely going to buy one from Mike Arnold (Monitortop) when I am ready and I will look at the GE models. I have purchased from him in the past and he is great to deal with.

Ralph, I remember the Westy fridges with the big push button door oepner rather than a handle ya pulled.
Push Button Openers
Hey Bob, thanks for the info. I can't remember ever seeing a Westy with a push button. I'll have to keep an eye out for some pix on line since I'll probably never see one in person. They should have stuck with that design! I do remember Frigidaires with push buttons. I had an experience with one where I eneded up breaking a hinge, which seemed to be made of pot metal.
