replies to christfr and yaktx

Thanx for the replies guys. As for the question from christfr yes, the water level is correct and the unit works fine on a non-GFI outlet. The dishwasher only trips the GFI during the dry cycle after it has been drying for a minute.
yaktx- I attached a new grounded cord to the Westinghouse unit and I will be doing the same for the newly aquired '57 Kenmore. Pictures to come!
