My vintage WP DW had a quarter sized rust spot in the left rear corner.  It gets very little  use.  I came across  some Rerack a while back and bought it.  Wondering if it's worth putting a number of coats on the spot to help preserve the tub.  I know it's not ideal, and there are more involved and permanent repairs, but I'm wondering if "something" is better that "nothing"....

Nothing ventured nothing gained. That's what I say.

Carefully and gently sandpaper a bit of the rust away, then coat with several layers of ReRack, allowing each to dry well in between coats.

Used the stuff to "stop" rust spots on bottom of GE Mobile Maid dishwasher. Thus far seems to have held up rather well.
