Good morning!

I'm back with another couple of questions and an update!
Update first,<span style="text-decoration: underline;"> MY STOVE WORKS!!</span>

After a few trips back and forth to the hardware store and couple of ordered odd size screws, my dad and I got my stove up and running. Everything works like it should so far, and it has made it to its final destination! But there are still a couple of things I have questions about.

When I pulled everything apart to finish cleaning it up, I discovered a place for a light that goes over the top and the burners of the stove. I bought the correct size bulb, and when we plugged in the stove it tried to light up like it was supposed to (we were outside testing it so I assume the light will eventually work like it's supposed to once it's sitting in the warm of the house and not the cold of the driveway), but there was no way for me to turn the light on and off. There is, however, a port (?) next to an outlet on the face of the stove that it labeled "LAMP" (as seen in the first picture). Is there a switch that I'm supposed to install/replace there that will allow me to turn the light on and off?

And then my other question is, does anybody know how I might get the clock on the face to work? Or could anybody give me instructions on how to set and stop the timer and work the clock on the face? I have no instruction manual for this range and I've had a tough time trying to find one that matches close enough in year. In addition to this, does anybody know how I can get behind the glass to clean the clock face area? The previous owner didn't really believe in cleaning their stove, I don't believe.

Thank you for any help/advise you might be able to provide!!

HotPoint 40 inch range

To the left of the outlet there's supposed to be a push button switch to turn the light on and off. It sounds like the little button is broken off. You'll have to replace the switch to fix the light operation.

The clock just runs by itself if it doesn't work, you'll have to take it out to send it away for repair or try to fix it yourself. You also have to take the clock out and disassemble it to get to the back of the glass to clean it

In your picture number one there's a black metal piece under the right rear burner. It's in backwards on your stove. It's supposed to be turned so it directs the heat from the oven through the center of the burner Bowl. This is the oven vent that black piece act like a little chimney to carry the hot moist air through the center of the burner to vent the oven. You don't want the vent going under the cooktop. It may cause it to rust or damage things.
