Reviewed.Com Presents: The Kenmore Powerwave Spray Arm Dishwasher Review!

Personally, I think this is where whirlpool dishwashers start to go downhill. Its really sad how A BOL kenmore got a higher score then a $1000 dishwasher. Well, we saw the water just spitting out of the powerwave spray arms. This is the result. Not so "Total Coverage" after all.

So the BOL cleaned better than the TOL?

I guess a low powered water fountain motor spraying on dishes can't clean them as well?

I don't think Whirlpool dishwashers are going down hill per se.  They simply tried a different approach to distribute the water that washes the load and it appears to not be as effective in reality vs. testing labs.  (Look at the Samsung wall of water dishwasher--similar "thought").  It does make me wonder if the forthcoming new KitchenAids with the windows and new wash technology will have as dismal results or will surpass this Whirlpool attempt.  Innovation sometimes is an improvement and sometimes it's not.

Take care of what you presently have if you are satisfied with it. If you really love it, remove it and replace it with something new before putting your property on the market so that you can take it with you.

NO they are not going down hill

My Magtag (whirlpool) recently purchased dishwasher is probably the best dishwasher I've ever had.......Much better than the 2005 Whirlpool it replaced. I was speaking of the lower powered motors.
