Ok, I have been so good,,,,for so long,,,,but I have a basement remodel coming up and I am doing a vintage kitchenette/bar with GE. I have always wanted a GE Wall Fridge but this seems more practical,,,right? More to come as there will be a couple of GE stove choices to go with this (even an Americana Range) but in the meantime I need to get this here. Who are you using for shipping these days?

I have used You-Crate and all went well. The item made it to its destination safely and on time. The only catch is that the seller has to be willing to load the fridge into the crate and secure it with straps that are supplied. If you don't trust the seller to do it right, then you'd be better off finding a full service transporter. Others here should be able to suggest one.

Winner!

So you are the buyer of the Americana? Excellent - I'm glad to know someone who can appreciate the 'fridge bought it!

Regarding transport; I used Vintage Transport to move my '58 GE Combination from Phoenix to Atlanta earlier this year and I think they did a good job (they actually carried it on to Clayton, GA and then back here after the work was done). I know they have a hub here and in Phoenix, but I don't know about other cities.
