She has done an excellent job of pursuing and continuing Gene Roddenberry's dream (since he died) of the Star Trek world and all variations of the TV series and movies it has spawned.

I always loved her.
Nurse Chapel was great, but I preferred her character on The Next Generation. There was nothing like her and Patrick Stewart's banter back and forth.
She'll be missed.

RIP, I loved her as Luxwana Troy! She couldn't be beat!
She was great through the whole series. From begining to end.
I wonder if she has credits in the new Star Trek movie?

Hi Folks,
This is very sad news for the Sci Fi Universe.
I really enjoyed Majel Roddenberry in all her Star Trek and Sci Fi roles, she was a wonderful and very beautiful actress.
My thoughts and prayers are with her Son and family.
Rest In Peace First Lady of Star Trek I shall miss you very much.

I did not know she played Nurse Chapel and Luxwana Troy until I read this post. I watched the trailer for the new movie coming out in 09 looks interesting.
