Pace, T'Imploro, Pace, Pace

May God grant Mr. Swayze peace and enternal rest.

Another great person lost too soon, and too young.

Colon and pancreatic cancer claim are claiming so many young lives today. Pancreatic cancer is especially quite difficult because normally one does not know until it is quite late stage.

RIP Patrick.

He was born the same year as I.

Pancreatic cancer is deadly not only because it is usually first detected when it's too late, but the cancer itself is encapsulated in a tough membrane that is difficult to get chemotherapy agents through.

I lost a good friend to pancreatic cancer about six years ago. He lived less than a year after the diagnosis.

Same here, Jim. Ghost and To Wong Foo are great films IMO. Swayze made an awesome and completely believable drag queen, unlike Dustin Hoffman (Tootsie) and Robin Williams (Mrs. Doubtfire). He even managed to surpass Nathan Lane in that regard, which isn't easy to do. And his Chippendale bit with Chris Farley on SNL rates as one of the best skits ever.

RIP Mr. Swayze

If you ever get to see the "E" True Hollywood Story about him watch it. It is awesome.
It covers from his birth to current.
He was an amazing guy that was not only talented in many, many ways...but was always a super hard worker!
He was very young to die at this age.
Brent
