Roasted Asparagus

Asparagus is one of our favorites and this is how we generally make it - very simple roasting in a hot oven with a little seasoning.

Sounds good Kevin, I'll have to try it this way!  

 

I usually cook my asparagus outside on the grill (coated in olive oil, S&P, med-hot, 8-12 mins +/-).

I often microwave asparagus (olive oil and seasoning of some type) but have also done it in the traditional oven and a couple times on RJ's grill.  Have two bunches in the 'fridge right now.

My next door neighbor makes them on the grill also. But instead of olive oil, she uses Good Seasons Italian dressing and they are sooo good.

Asparagus all my life, even the mushy canned stuff my Mother served me..LOL I do one thing different, I usually lightly peel it AKA Julia Child by way of Mark Harman.
