Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Oh god lol. That was the craziest experience. They told us that the name of the show was "My Collection Obsession" and used the acronym "MCO" in all the paper work. The day before it aired I found out the name of the show was really "My Crazy Obsession". Let's just say I learned a whole lot about reality television by doing that show, which I normally don't watch.

I wouldn’t call it a crazy obsession, more of a hobby more than anything. At least restoring and collecting major appliances is more normal compared to what other people on this show are obsessed with. There are people who are literally obsessed with collecting rocks and bugs on this show (no really lol)

What a great job of representing more than just collectors. The house looks great. The collections look TOL. You both look fabulous.

It doesn't matter what one collects and focuses their energies on. It's a tribute to how focused people can be to mastering a subject. I've really learned to be thankful to the people who can pin-point the details. They really make all the advances that we all benefit from happen.

5:05 I'm so happy you've never had Polio Robert. I need to get a machine with that light to deal with my frequent bouts.

We are nearing the anniversary. I never saw this show when it was on. Lots of episodes.[this post was last edited: 3/23/2021-18:16]

I remember seeing this episode here in Brazil in the dubbed version in 2012.

I had found it great to know that it was not only in Brazil that people liked washing machines.
thanks for sharing this video

This episode, as well as the Sunday Morning Special, on washing machine collection has actually inspired me to join this group! Thank you Robert and Fred! If they do see this, do you have any wringer washers in your collections? Here are mine below:

The pink Lady Kenmore wringer in reply#18 above is exactly like the one our neighbor owned.  She was like a second mother to I and my siblings.

I learned how to use a wringer watching Bev do the laundry in this machine on her back porch.  She lived in a house that had been a hotel in the days of Stage Coaches. It later broke down and she still had her mothers old Maytag square tub from the 30’s that she put into use instead.

We lived in the country on well water with septic tanks so conservation of water was a big deal.  My mom bought a Maytag E2LSP in ‘69 to replace her ‘62 MOL Whirlpool TL automatic.  I was already schooled in the operation of wringer washers from watching Bev using her wringer washers.
