i received my video of the "montgomery ward show" some time ago but was saving it to watch some cold nite here in ohio.

last nite i got home from work, ate a bite and settled in with the dogs to watch it for the first time!

i really enjoyed it! even though i have never paid much attention to the montgomery ward brand i found it fun and interesting. loved the braking action and your explanation and footage of how it works so quickly!

also loved the way you let it run it's full cycle without cutting ahead during fills etc. if it's a "montgomery ward show" then let's watch every second of it's cycle!

i do have a question. i saw the lint filter over the agitator like the old g.e. filter flos that i remember as a kid (my aunt had one before she got her 65 rollermatic). but i didn't see water pumping into it thru a recirculation pump like the ge. does the water somehow pump up thru the agitator into the filter basket? very curious about that. and i take it the blue cap you put on is the fabric softner dispensor?

anyway it was fun, glad i got it from you and please do a frigidaire! any! unimatic, pulsamatic, who cares! will be in line to buy when you do!

Awwww, thanks Pete, I'm thrilled you like my little "work of washer art". Yes the only way to make a real washer show is to show the entire cycle, start to finish!

The Norge/Wards agitator we lovingly call a burp-a-lator because its designed to suck water into the holes at the base and spit it out from the top onto a filter pan as seen in the video. Here is a close up of the agitator, you can see one of the two channels that the water travels and the hole where it is thrown out of at the top...

i've heard you guys mention before. learn something new everyday here!

anyway, it's a great fun video and i've been workin on a dishwasher today so i played it again while i was cleaning up a g.e. potscrubber 1200 i've had for a year now but never got to.

if i want to post some pics of this g.e. potscrubber what section would that be? imperial or deluxe? not sure of it's age. i'm guessin the 80's. it's the one with that hard to find whirligig type spray arm with two little spray arms mounted on each end of the big one. so i thought some of the guys might like to see pics of it. also wondering if it's better to put some posts in the super section, posts that aren't that important so not to take up valuable space in the archives. this dishwasher is definately not a vintage classic but is cute in it's own way and it looks like new!
