Glad you like it Jon, thank you :-)

Change is

sometimes a hard thing for people to deal with but in this case Robert all of the changes have been GREAT!!! Great job, thanks for all of your hard work!!

Hey Robert, I agree with the rest--all of your changes have been well thought-out and are great improvements.

I have one humble request since you're in tweaking mode (not chemically induced of course) regarding navigation, etc.

On the "Create a New Thread" screen, might you consider placing another "Continue" button down at the bottom? Not to be confused with the "Cancel" button. So many threads here are launched in "Super" but when a user selects "Other Non-Appliance Related" they have to go back up to the top to hit "Continue." Not a big deal, but something I've noticed over the years when I've created a thread.

Just a suggestion, and thanks for all you do to make this site better all the time.

Ralph

Thanks everyone!

Good idea Ralph, will add it to the to-do list. Thank you!

So Convenient

Robert, thank you for the improvements and especially for the thread buttons on the top. It is super!!

Gee that sounds like the motto of a cat-house I visited (unknowingly) while appraising a commercial building in Manhattan. Poor girls were scared to death..........

The question is,

Do you pay before your get on (like a bus)
or after you get off (like a taxi)?

Hi Robert,

I love the new links, it makes it so quick to move around.

Would it be possible to put the thread in a frame and leave the menu bar visible at the top always? That way you wouldnt need to scroll to the top or the bottom of the page to get to it.

Love the work, its looking very cute.

Cheers

Nathan

Nathan, frames tend to screw up everything else in the interface. Most keyboards have a key that sends the page to the top or bottom (Home and End on my machine, might be something else on yours, like Control-Home or something similar, try it out).

Yup Frames are a thing of the past, while many browsers still support them they are not being used anymore in modern programming. Frames had caused many websites issues in the past with browser incompatibility.

Robert,

I really appreciate all you are doing. One thing which occurs to me - perhaps it has been mentioned and I missed it - is that many blogs and forums over the last few months have integrated a simple formatting tool with which one can set text in italics, <s>strikethrough</s>, etc.

Definitely not a major nor even a minor thing and I hesitate to add it to the long list of requests.

Here's what I'm thinking of, Pam's Houseblend is typical.
