Wow! I wonder if the humanoid ones were hooked up to a guy who was dancing. Even so, that's still jaw dropping!
I was watching the dog and the legs had either L<->R or Front<->Back symmetry at all times, but kept balance with all that jumping. .... Amazing.
The bird was even more impressive.... all that while staying balanced on 2 wheels.....

I'm addicted to technology, We're a step closer to have the Roomba vacuuming like Mrs. Doubtfire. That will be REALLY interesting and definitely a conversation starter.

My Christmas Wish for Tecnology...
... is something much less grand.
When I do a camera check and adjust the lights and shades in my LR/DR/Office with its wall of WSW facing windows and have it all just right.....
I want it to look that way on whatever platform I'm using!!! It doesn't matter the platform I'm using. It doesn't matter the time of day, cloud cover or any other factor I've been able to identify. I look completely different. And the kind of difference is random. One day I'll set it up just right but on the platform I'm blown out. The next day at the same time with the same weather I'm too dark. It's like a crap shoot.
Fortunately, I've two torchieres with remote controls so I've less jumping up and down than before. But that's not the point. The point is that whatever I see during my camera check should be what people on Zoom see. I am not amused.
