That's pretty pricey @ $800 although as separate pieces they would probably fetch that and more. The cooking vessel is difficult to find and is required for the ice cream maker. I rarely use the Foodmatic but it's fun and fits in with my passion for built-in anything.

I lucked out and got all this stuff, the accessory drawers, all the printed material along with a loose-leaf recipe book for very little money. The seller lived in the Midwest and probably spent the same amount on just packing and shipping.

You have to keep in mind this is one of those unusual items that may be worth hundreds to one person while the next individual is trying to see if it will fit in the garbage can. Not everyone is a "seasoned collector connoisseur" like members here.

I snap that on when my very old little canary tweets he's bored,,,nothing faster than half-way on the speed dial.

You have a canary, really? I bred canaries for many years, Belgian Waaterslagers and then American Singers. Gave it up when we moved here, but I'd like to start again,, although someone doesn't want anymore I the house LOL.

From Foodmatic to canaries...blame me

I don't want to turn this into a bird forum, but I raised canaries too. When I lived in San Jose (home town) I had about 120 birds. They were difficult to count. My aviary was next to my neighbor's side patio. He'd play opera arias and the birds would sing their heads off. It was really beautiful.
