Wow! That is something. Rush got alot of different points in there kinda all balled up. All true points though. The media has covered up -- no wait, they didn't cover up, they just didn't report on Obama's deficiencies. And if you did have a legitimate disagreement with his politics, his qualifications, the questionable cabinet appointees, there were many on the left that did yell racism. But the left wing media just kept building him up, at the same time knocking Bush down -- no wait, they didn't knock Bush down, they just didn't report on Bush' successes. And (almost) everyone drank that Kool-Aid and developed BDS to such an extent that you can't have a conversation with them. No, they made Sarah Palin, a supremely (more) qualified government executive out to be a twit on one hand while raising a socialist community activist, less than one term senator, who was barely a lawyer as President. And the left and the left media IS the FIRST to always yell "RACISM!" when every criticism I ever heard has been lobbed against his politics and views. The real left is rarely -- if EVER -- heard from in America's major media, a fact which is abundantly clear to anyone who's spent any time outside the U.S.

The world is comprised of six billion people, approximately five billion of whom live either under socialist or communist governments. But here in the U.S.? To represent the "left" we're given Eleanor Clift and Fran Drescher. Abso-fucking-lutely pathetic.
But even that is too much for America's "conservatives", who're busy today whining about a man who's been in office for three days, and they don't have a goddamned word to say about the socialist catastrophe who occupied the White House for the previous EIGHT YEARS.

It kinda true about MSNBC and CNN... one reason why I watch almost no television. Sometimes I think tv news does more harm than good. Its become less about news and more about telling folks what they want to hear. Too much about personalities. Ive tried to watch Olberman (sp?) but find him unwatchable.

Unfortunately this country is in serious trouble right now, and the old politics as usual bit just isn't helping.

It really is the end of an era, fighting over things in this country that the more aged of us Barely remember, or not remembered at all by some of the younger members of this forum. The fight for racial equality in this country is a journey coming to fruition. The republican agenda has no voice or focus. Folks of all races VOTED in droves for President Obama. I wish him the very best in the highest office in our land. For Mr Rush Limbaugh to say he would wish our/my, Commander in Chief, to fail is very INSULTING, to me. I don't know who his sponsors are as i do not watch/listen to his program and have no desire to. Money talks folks, do we need to add Rush's sponsors to our boycott list? I guess we need to get ready for a whole lot of UGLY, coming from a never ending parade of STUPID.
The wish to see this new president fail sounds pretty anti-American to me. With an economy that is almost down the drain, a war that is costing way too much money and a nation that lost it's prestige in the world one would think not only everybody in the USA but every human being in the whole world wishes to see this president achieve his goals. When the people in the USA don't stand united behind this president's goal to turn things for the better it will be a tough job. You don't have to like this president, but what he wants to achieve deserves his support. From all of us!
