RW100 Respirator Washer - Whoa!

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I've seen this video some time ago and there was also one for the matching dryer which might be good to dry shoes!
If there's a market for such a machine, it must be very limited!

Strange set of machines. I would think a sanatizer for such equipment would be more a dishwasherlike machine. Those brushes could be a possible breeding ground for bacteria.

Important is that the equipment doesn't get static. My asthma resirator needs to be washed with water with dish detergent and not rinsed afterwards. Drying it in a dryer might make them static I'm afraid.

I will not comment on loading the dryer without gloves....

The prices for those machines are outrageous and are bordering on criminal. They know they can get away with it because who else are you going to buy them from?

The fact that these are just standard commercial machines with trivial modifications kind of angers me, because it is fire departments and other emergency services which buy these kinds of appliances, you know.. agencies that don't make profits.

I will admit at least that both of these devices look like they would do a good job washing respirators, but I can't see the brushes on the washer doing anything to preserve their lifespan.

One fellow I know would probably like to try to use the washer to clean shotgun shells for reloading(fired ones picked up on the range)-bet it would work well!I can agree think these machines are overpriced for the market they are intended for.Perhaps the maker should DONATE these machines to emergency service providers that need them. The shotshell reloader will have to BUY his!Shotshell reloading is a big thing with many Trap,Skeet, and sporting clays shooting clubs. For those shooting hobbies, don't be surprized if you shoot several boxes in one visit to the range. It is a lot of fun!The reloaded shells are cheaper. The spent shells can be used a several times before they are totaly "shot out".

Shotgun shells would be too small to load in the racks of a dishwasher-and too tedious-the water blast of the dishwasher sprayers would just blast them around inside-Good thought, though. You would have to come up with some sort of container to put the shells in.When the man I knew washed them in an apartment SQ washer-he put the shells in large mesh bags. That worked well.He would dry the bags and shells in the dryer at lo heat.

Obviously the Miele approach is way better!
The masks will be subject to much less wear and tear than those scrubbing brushes and in the dryer there are no cloth inserts and the masks are stuck to the sides with no relative movement to each other!
