What can I use as replacement for Rykon No2 grease and Turbine Oil, on a direct drive Whirlpool/Kenmore washer? I have some Lucus white lithium

I've personally used Lucas Red & Tacky #2 grease where Rykon #2 grease was called for and have never had any problems. However, I've never rebuilt a direct drive so unsure if there are better choices out there for that application.

For turbine oil, I've always used Supco Zoom Spout oil - its just a very light machine oil, probably very similar to sewing machine oil or air tool oil. Really, I think any light machine oil will do fine but others may chime in with other recommendations.

In my work overhauling various products, I've gravitated to using synthetic grease for many things.
It sheds water/moisture better than petroleum greases.
It doesen't attract dirt.
And it seems to last forever without hardening or drying out like pretroleum does.

In the shop over the years, I started using "Super Lube" grease on things like VCR mechanisms, CD mechs, Turntables, etc.
And at home on power tools, mechanisms, etc.
30 years ago I serviced my old VCR's with that grease, and just a few years back did an inspection of them - they worked fine, and that grease was still slippery as hell.
It's also great to pack bearings with.
That turbine oil is great too.
As for heavy oils, I like the 20 weight engine "break-in" oil with the zinc additive.
