adding to my huge collection of wringer washers and table top machines I have starting collecting washer and dryer s & p shakers and washing machine banks, has anybody seen them either on this site or e-bay? Thanks, Mike Love this site.

E-bay

I bought several westinghouse front loader S&P sets in different colors from E-bay.Also a Frigidaire agitator sprinkler for ironing clothes.Companies used to give out so many neat items.Bobby

I have the "Laundromat twins" in S&P shakers and toys.I have the Fitts and Floyd(Omnibus)washer dryer cookie jar and gas range cookie jar. I have also found the FRIGIDAIRE Three Ring Agitator clothes sprinklers,as well as the Jet Action 1-18 Jet Cone agitator clothes sprinklers, the cut away Deep Action Agitator,Fitts and Floyd Canister set with a Bendix washer, gas range, refrigerator and sink. All in turquoise along with the coin banks made in the same style but smaller, and a Roller Matic Mechanism display that has a crank to show how it works. No pullies,no gears,no belts. And finaly,I have a weihing scale for a FRIGIDAIRE Drycleaning center that weighs the load so you don't overload it.It took many years of searching and finding but, once I got my first computer back in 1993,I was amazed at what I found on ebay and Craig's List!!My very first purchase on ebay was a Westinghouse Laundrofile booklet for $4.

Chuck:

I cannot believe my eyes when I look at those percolator shakers - as long as I've been interested in Dormeyer, I've never seen a toy or promotional Dormeyer anything.

Rare and awesome find!

Thanks! I don't think either of us knew about them being THAT rare. Rich just liked 'em, and I'm sure the price was right!

Too bad the idiot at the shop took the price sticker (yes, a sticker!) off one before I could get to it. This is what we ended up with. :-( I shot a pic of it when we got home to use or an article for Antique Week on what happens when dealers or check-out staff aren't careful!
