Seeing if anybody else is having problems with their Samsung FL washer leaking water from the bottom of the dispenser drawer. I've cleaned the drawer so it sits flush in the machine, so no build ups of detergent or softener. What I've noticed when the washer first starts to fill, it is ok, no leaks. It tumbles a bit, then adds more water. I have it set to a warm wash on perma press cycle. When it adds more water, that's when the leak or flood starts, running out the bottom of the dispenser drawer.

maybe you should check if its your water inlets that are not plug in correctly or maybe its just the dispenser drawer thats not in fully and (*off topic for a sec{i prefer a top load washer no dispenser as i put the detergent as the washer fills}) Or it might be a defective dispenser drawer? but i think a picture is worth a 1000 words and would help members here to locate your problem

No luck fixing it. Water pressure hasn't changed here. On city water system, no new meters, pipes or anything. Given our crappy, hard water, we'd probably be blowing out pipes if the pressure increased.
The drawer doesn't have the removable cups that could work loose. Just a small dam like piece to lift if you're using powdered or liquid detergent.
Did try cleaning all the water holes over each dispenser area. Tried a couple of fills and no leaks, but when I added clothes I had a flood again. Made no difference for a hot, warm or cold wash. Doesn't leak on the rinse fill part of the cycle.
When it fills you can almost hear a change in sound, like when you fill a jug, as if there may be some sort of obstruction in the fill hose to the tub. It is under an extended warranty, so I'll give Best Buy a call and have them take a look at it. Will give an update when that happens.

I have an LG front Loader. I have recently acquired another machine exactly the same and both machines have the same trouble. I have modified the older machine to mostly fix it.

It is steam and hot air accumulating inside the drum, when the clothes start to tumble it causes a pressure build up inside the drum, on the LG the only vent to outside is through the dispenser drawer. If the drum is pressurised, the incoming water won't run easily into the drum, and it overflows out the front instead. Air building up in the drum needs to be vented and in my LG the vent is to the top of the dispenser cavity. From there the air flows under the drawer, up inside the dispenser drawer and out through the handle. Inside the handle I can see a row of small holes to vent the escaping air. In the LG the vent holes are not well designed, they are too low down and if the air is coming out fast (as it does when steam is building up in the drum) then it carries water out with it, which runs down the front of the machine.
I have blocked the original holes with white silicone sealant,and re-drilled more holes higher up inside the drawer, behind the handle.
I can post photos later, not tonight.

but keep receipts from the service....and read your policy.....3 service calls for the same machine REWARDS you with a new machine....
Although it did take me placing the machine in the middle of their front doors blocking the entrance.......but I DID leave with a new machine!.....

I did try leaving the drawer open a bit, no luck, it still overflowed. It overflowed on hot, warm and cold water settings and for both fill and rinses. Best Buy service is coming out here on Tuesday. When they were told about the problems, the person on the phone seemed to know what was happening. Their diagnosis is something blocking the fill tube from the drawer to the drum. Also the matching dryer is making a thumping sound. They said there is a bearing at the back that could be going out. Interesting since the machines are from 2007, so not that old. Apparently I'm not the first customer with this problem.
Short of about 6 weeks when I used some liquid Gain detergent, I've used either powdered Tide for HE or Sears HE detergent in the machine. I do hot and warm washes mostly. Even with our crummy water I'm surprised there would be a build of detergent. I wonder if may be due to fabric softener build up in the tube. Though again I generally rinse in warm water. Being in the desert here, our cold water is never that cold.

Best Buy came out yesterday and found the culprit. There is a comforter that had some slight rips and the tech found a ball of fluff in the fill tube. Fills just fine now.

And the dryer making the thumping sound? The tech mentioned that we've gotten good use out of this one as most he's seen have split within a year. This wasn't a cheap set when purchased, so that surprises me. You can see near the fin that the tub has split along the seam line. He'll be back in about a week to replace the whole tub.

my aunt bought a new samsung dishwasher last year around thanksgiving, they paid about $700 for it, i told her to buy either a bosch or a ge but she wanted a samsung, when i was over there for thanksgiving she was loading the dishwasher and pushed the rack in to close the door and 3 wheels fell off of the bottom rack! i told my aunt if that was ME i would have returned that thing the NEXT day!
