Samsung Gas Range Help!

The front left burner nob on my Samsung gas range will not turn.  If I use enough pressure, I can just move it enough so that the igniter begins sparking.  I don't want to force it anymore than that, lest I break it. 

 

Does anyone have any ideas about what is wrong?  Is it something I might fix myself?  I've never worked on a gas range.

Stuck Burner Valve [ DONT FORCE IT ]

You need a new burner valve for that burner.

Replacing it is not a difficult job if you have the skills to disassemble and reassemble part of a range involving gas and electrical components.

Thanks Combo52!  I found the valve online and purchased it.  It looks like a simple and straightforward repair!
