Please tell us

Ok Jason. Tell us how it works. Everyone of us vac guys in here want one. Is it a 12 amp screamer, or is it fairly quiet? Give us some pics of you using it. We'd all love to see that. Congratulations on being one of the first owners of a Hoover icon. Tim

Nice Constellation, congrats!!! Now all you need is its vintage counterpart to keep it company! :)

Let us know how it works...I'm interested to see how effective the turbo nozzle is as well. As much as I love the clip-on attachments, I'm glad to see Hoover has gone to friction-fit tools on this one which will offer better attachment flexibility. That way if you don't like the nozzle, throw it away and replace it with a TurboCat! If the airflow is as good as it is on the vintage Connies, I'm sure yours will have no problem driving this one!

very cool!!

Congrats Jason, one being one of the first to own the new Connie!
happy Hoovering from Hooverland!

the rugrat

it IS the same one sold with the kirby. offered with kirby for only one model-run, i think. what model, i dont know, but i have one of them. that was FAST, Jason! btw, Jason, i think this color combo is MORE attractive than the stainless steel. everything comes in brushed steel nowadays. brushed steel is the new avocado.

I agree with David on the stainless steel...

I DO also think this one is actually more attractive. Although I will never diss avacado...it's my favorite color (so drab and sexy).

I'm swooning with jealousy. That's a very cool vacuum. Be sure to post a full review soon! I can't wait to get one myself...

It actually works well. It has the 12a motor. It's quiet like the original but the sound is a little different. The turbohead nozzle is louder than the vac itself. As far as suction, it rocks. It picks stuff up no problem. I don't know how it compares to the original but it's wonderful.

My only beef is the plastic toggleswitch and the thin plastic attachments that goes with it.

All in all it's a keeper.

HAHAHA

Ain't that the truth...

:-)

So glad your Connie arrived, Jason... It really does look stunning in white, with grey trim. I like the stainless just as well. The bags are not cheap from the Hoover Company, direct. A 2-pack of HEPA bags will retail for $19.99, and have a dealer cost of $13.99. I know on the allergybegone website, they're MUCH less-- only $6.99 or $8.99, I believe. I'd stock up now.

I'm still waiting for the higher-ups to give us the "ok" to go ahead and order some machines for our store... I'm not very good at being patient.

Happy Hoovering!
