Saw this fabulous bumper sticker while out to dinner tonight.
I just had to stop and take a picture.

You know what they say... take a picture, it lasts longer.

:-)

Oh Fred, that is perfect!!! I went and voted today, it was the first day for early voting here in Florida. I had to wait in line for an hour!! This was at 4 this afternoon and they said it had been this way all day. I think that is a very good sign. It is always fun to listen to others talking while in line! I believe that many there were Obama supporters!!! YAY

Terry...

Thanks for your report from the field. Great news. It's encouraging to hear, first hand, that large numbers of people are participating in other parts of the country. In 2000 and 2004 the press predicted there would be record voter turnout, which didn't happen. In 2000 it was 55% and in 2004 it was 61% (a little better). If we reach 65%, which some pollsters are predicting, it would be the highest turnout since at least 1948.

Fred and Greg, love the photos. Thanks for sharing.

Mike

YAY!

Awesome news!
Awesome Pictures!
Peter, you need to get out of your minority mentality, it is obvious that it will not work for you. Time is ticking....

An Action Figure We Can Believe In

Greg - that is a fantastic photo - thanks for posting.

My sister and mother were up in Minneapolis over the weekend. I have no idea where they found this - but to be fair the store also stocked the McCain GI-Joe as well.

I was told though there were very few Obama's left on the shelf and plenty of McCain to go around.

Now this will really make you want to ........

NEW YORK – Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin says she supports a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, a break with John McCain who has said he believes states should be left to define what marriage is.

In an interview with Christian Broadcasting Network, the Alaska governor said she had voted in 1998 for a state amendment banning same sex marriage and hoped to see a federal ban on such unions.

"I have voted along with the vast majority of Alaskans who had the opportunity to vote to amend our Constitution defining marriage as between one man and one woman. I wish on a federal level that's where we would go. I don't support gay marriage," Palin said. She said she believed traditional marriage is the foundation for strong families.

She is a trip Terry!

Here she is in her own words about this matter. Short Video!
She talks in circles.

Sarah Palin just made me throw up a little bit more!

It seems as if she's now gone public with her contention that a constitutional amendment is necessary to "protect" straight marraige from gay marraige. Even McCain has said no to that one.

I will never, ever understand how people in presumably happy and secure straight marraiges can work so hard to deny others the benefits that they have. It is so very ungracious, and certainly inconsistent with the message of state's rights and limited government that we always hear from Republicans.

In defense of American women

The whole Sarah Palin thing continues to fascinate
me.

Who picked her and why?

And what does their choice say about their regard
(or lack of it) for the American people in general
and American women in particular.

Clearly, McCain didn't pick her.

He didn't even know who she was and had never met her.

So who did? And what were they thinking?

Is their contempt for Americans really that deep
or are they just unspeakably stupid?

Meanwhile, here are two intelligent, informed,
well-spoken young women from Alaska revealing
more abut the reality of Sarah Palin in five
minutes than hours and hours of network news BS:

If you are not a subscriber of BrasscheckTV, it is very informative, with very rare videos!

I can understand the religion-addled mind making this claim but what I cannot - and will never - understand are gay people who believe this same nonsense and who support the candidates who spout this divisive hatred.

Well, she looks cute!
What is your point Greg!
