Saw a walmart ad for Persil--- what is it really?

I've got a Persil sample from an AW member which I'm almost certain is Henkel original not one of the offshoots or name licenses. I want to buy more but what is original/genuine Persil called today and who sells it? Surely not walmart, though if it's what I want would be a very convenient source.

Who knows what walmart Persil really is? (One could read that two ways, eh?)

pearls smells just like the German Persil pearls I have.  I'm trying the pods right now too...love them so far!

Persil pro pearls really are great for whites. I take great pride in my laundry and whites must be brilliant white the persil pearls from walmart beat tide with bleach in my house. Earlier today I did a load of whites ( kids clothes) and I used the pearls..the entire load is white white and some of these white tee shirts had multiple stains ..cherry koolaid, pizza, chocolate, definitely shirts from a7 year old..I didn't pretreat anything. I did use 130 degree water and STPP with the Persil and after they agatated 5min I shut them off for about 30 minutes to soak than resumed the cycle. Wonderful results. I have never used any persil except walmarts so I have no others to compare it to..I highly recommend you try it..lol..I don't work for persil....Cheryl

Whats your ratio for STPP to detergent?

I bought some Sodium Tripolyphosphate, and I'm starting from zero. What ratio's have you tried, and what worked best?

Benny everything I've learned about STPP I've learned here especially from Sudsmaster he's a real pro when it comes to the stuff..but I premix powdered detergent with STPP at a ratio of 1part stpp to 2 parts detergent. .so if I use 10 pounds detergent I mix in 5 pounds stpp..it helps if you have a scale to weigh the stuff as the stpp won't weigh dry what the detergent does.but you sure don't have to premix also I should mention I use a standard top loader so if you use a HE I'm not sure the amount to use but most likely sudsmaster, Launderess, or someone else very educated in this will have something to say.
Since I started using the STPP I have remarkable results and the more you use it the better your results will be. Ive also noticed my clothes rinse much better which is always a good thing. Cheryl

Cool! I've got a couple of pounds due in the morning. Can wait! I'm going to buy some white hand towels
and stain them up, as to compare the Persil, Tide HeTurbo powders with and without STPP.
