Hai, Unimatic 1140 (or someone else:$) did some tests about spin speed / spin time / water removal. I wanted to read it again but I don't find it in the archive? Did I overlooked it or is't it really gone? Also how does the searchprogram works? All things I type cannot be matched to some posts...

What I want to know: Is it really worth it to spin towels in my seperate spinner (2800 rpm) before I put them into the dryer? Thought someone tested it before?

Why not try it yourself? Just put the laundry in the spinner and see if more water is extracted.

I was surprised to see that the Dutch consumers organisation "Consumentenbond" is still using separate spinners to test the spinning efficiency of washing machines so I suppose that separate spinners are still superior in this respect.

Seems to me like this is an intresting and ligitamate question and Im surprised there wasnt a response from Robert reguarding it. (the subject of old posts)or anyone else who may have the answer for that matter.

Myself I was looking for an oldie and dont have the slightest Idea how to go about finding it. Are we clueless or just missing something?

"Use Your Spinner".....Campaign!!!

Hello there, no you arnt clueless, that was a post that I (IMHO) founda stimulating exercise given the nature of this site...( you might have been mistaken by the description of the yellow forum) however after a few people did partake of the thread, it dropped down low and was last heard of floating in cyberspace washerama!!!...LOL

I would say use your spinner, clothes spun on this side of the pond in an 1800rpm front loader can still pull 8fl ounces out of a cotton load on a Creda Denonair spinner.....that save about 20 mins in the dryer....heres my little chart, I do have a Maytag A206 which I was able to use as a comparison...

I do feel stuff like this should be saved somewhere, what do you all think???
