I remember the user guide for my grandmother's Kenmore 70 had a flowered cover exactly like that.

Sears Laundry guide

That same guide came with my '78 LK. It's generic and came with every KM washer, wasn't specific to a particular model machine. The instructions for each specific model were separate, though sometimes more than one model would be covered in a particular manual.

Piece of history

It's cool with me. I'm glad I'm getting one. Now I can properly wash my clothes without any harmful side effects.
