Was at "the mall" about an hour away this evening. 7:30 p.m. Sears was closed. Apparently just closed for the day (at 7:30 p.m. on a Friday) being that I've not heard anything recently that it's shutting down.

Seems like many retailers are ailing. Radio Shack is closing 1/3 of their stores too...
