Help Support :

It's Christmas day and time for the "Reveal", if you wish.
Unfortunately, we are off with relatives in the northern burbs of Chicago so I won't see my Secret Santa gift till I return home in Texas.
I worked on Christmas Eve and it was fun making all the Santa Sightings from 34K feet for the kiddies onboard.
I was the Secret Santa for SactoTeddyBear. I thought a nice polo shirt of my own design would be a nice idea.
Merry Christmas to All and to all a good night!

Ah, you're visiting! I was wondering up with this Lake Forest IL business. Have a wonderful Christmas! Next year I'll have to look more closely into this secret Santa thing. I always seem to find out about it after it's happened. Enjoy!

Lake Forest Illinois...

Is not all that far from me!

I'm typing this from my dad's computer, he finally broke down and got DSL!

I hope everyone is having a great Christmas!

Terry Lattz was my secret Santa. I was amazed to open the box and see so many gifts all individually wrapped. Candy, Miniature Maytag Highlanders in the shipping box, a retrospective of the Maytag company, collector ornaments and a Super Hot Pot from QVC with the removable heat probe, glass lid and totally immersible. I am blown away and can't wait to meet Terry in Tuscon. Thank Deep Tub.

Kelly, It was so much fun being your "secret santa" I am so glad that you enjoyed the gifts. Terry

Re: Secret Santa, for Irishwashguy:

I'm glad that you liked my selection of Secret Santa Gifts that I got for you. I've sent you an E-Mail, just a short while ago, that explains about your inquiry and some other info, that I wanted to share only with you.

Enjoy everything as well as the rest of the Holiday Season. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Peace, Holiday Greetings, Christmas Hugs and Blessings, Steve

My SS was Mr. Gansky...

and my present is the beautiful Golden 1956 Waste King Pulverator seen on this forum a couple of months back...
Greg, I can't tell you how touched I am, and how thrilled I am to have this Waste King...
I did hook a cord up to it and fire it up... it came to life for the first time in 50 years with a little growl, but after a few minutes of running quieted right down.
Thanks from the bottom of my heart!

Yay! It looks beautiful in your arms, Jeff! Hope you and everyone else on AW.org had a great Christmas!

My SS was parunner58 (Mike) and he sent me a wonderful commemorative ornament, postcard and information about the Peace Candle in his hometown, Easton, PA. It's very interesting and a wonderful tradition in a season of peace and love. Thanks again, Mike!

Got mine but have been out of town!

Got my gift before Christmas and opened it just before leaving for western NY for the holidays and I must give a big thanks to my secret santa who did an outstanding job. I received a vintage glass coffee carafe/warmer and an egg poacher both in original packaging. Even my partner was excited!!

I am not sure who my secret santa is but am sure appreciative of the wonderful gifts.

Thank you and happy New Year!

Thanks Mrs. Clause! The gift had been delivered the Thursday before Christmas - from Texas. The Ariel soap will be a blast to use in the 1-18, and the automobile books were outa sight! I've always wanted the 50's book, and the 70's adds were a hit with the family as well! I'll have to give that coffee a try one of these mornings - it is tough to creep into work at 6:30 these days -

Much appreciated,

Ben

Funny you should appear, Ben :)

Ben was wonderful:

1974 Spring-Summer Sears catalogue. I cannot believe what we wore back then. I was 14, so I remember, however, darn it.

1956 January Better Homes and Gardens.

1957 January Ladies' Home Journal.

Maytag repair manual, including Halo of Heat, 08 series washers, and the direct drive dishwashers.

a Cobalt Fiesta creamer and sugar!

Ben is "teh awesome!"

My haul!

Well! My secret Santa certainly went all out:

A Hello Kitty keychain welcoming me to Hawaii;
A calendar of Hawaiian sunrises and sunsets;
A bottle of "Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific!" *
Owners manuals for TWO Kirby vacs and a Hoover Constellation (in an envelope marked "More Appliance Dreams";
And the best part...
A box of hand decorated Christmas tree balls with vintage appliance brand names and logos on them! And one with my name! I particularly like the "Sunbeam Swoop"!

Thank you, Secret Santa! All those pretty pictures of Hawaii. Hmmm. I might have to go visit some day...

Look what I got!

Yes, I know it's late, but sometimes things take a bit longer to get to the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Besides, it is still Christmas until January 6 (twelve days and all)

Here are the packages-What's inside?

The reveal!

My secret santa was Irishwashguy/Ritchie who must have spent waaay too much money, but got me some thing I will really enjoy!
I got a set of stainless steel measuring cups and spoons that I really need-How did he know? There is also a box of Godiva chocolates (I ate one immediately!), a cute hot pink hippopotumus clip/teabag wringer, some fun detergent and fabsoft, and a Maytag ad that I have never seen. My favorite thing is the computer mouse which is a small replica of a Miele vacuum cleaner-that's the most clever thing ever!
Thanks again Ritchie!
