Seems the spiral ramp agitator is still in use...

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Agitador En Espiral

Sounds like a nice line of machines-would be neat if they could be marketed here.Would think the Hispanic folks would be interested.Like the "perfect Wash" system.Like the 8 "ultraletas" in the base of the tub.Baffles of some sort.If they could be marketed here-worth a serious look. That ramp agitator sure does look like a KN Roto Swirl.Have some of their upright vacuums. They are all metal copies of an Eureka Sanitaire. The Koblentz ones are actually better. One vac has a dust cup-the others use Eureka F&G bags.As you may know-the Koblentz vacuums are readily available in the US.-Usually sold thru dealers or janitorial suppliers.

Last time I looked at the English version of the site Koblenz also had a yellow-skirted wringer washer called "Zoraya." I agree, it's time to expand their laundry line north of the border.

Sigh

I miss the ramp agitators of the past. Many had a unique way of churning over a load of wash. I'd like to see ramps as an alternative to the DAA of today. BORING! Ramps/Swirls/Rotos, whatever you want to call them, they're just fun to watch.
