Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

Oh Greg, don't you just love "Roll Easy Cleaning" why it makes cleaning fun!!! Back to the top!!!

The wash-in here is on Friday night, but I'm sure there will be people around most of the weekend. Several people are staying here so the weekend will be buzzing with people in and out all the time. Technically, this is not an Automatic Washer.org convention as we had here two years ago, but a full weekend of vintage fun - vacuums, washers & dryers, and lots of small appliances I'll be digging out of hiding. All are welcome to attend and enjoy the Friday nigh wash-in, the VCCC convention events if so desired and the city itself. Take a couple of days off, cover the 'mats and get away from it all Peter, you deserve it!

I'm sure a few people will want to experience some of the nightlife in the city, here is a website that details some of the attractions and events in the gay community.

Here is the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau website, there is lots of information on local attractions and events. Have a peek at the Old Market, Omaha Botanical Gardens, museums and happenings downtown - all within a short 15 min. drive of the Regency Lodge where the convention events are being held. Omaha is a very easy city to navigate so transportation shouldn't be intimidating for anyone!

Classic Television Films in the Background?

Might there also be some classic television sets playing vintage films of appliance and detergent ads in the background? Back to the top she goes!--Laundry Shark

Even BETTER, you can see and smell the actual vintage detergents and softeners in person. Round and round and back to the top we go!!

I hope all of you checked out the great pictures that Greg just posted on the Imperial Forum. Just a little tease to all of the fantastic machines you will see at the Wash-IN. Not to be missed and back to the top this goes!!

If Only I Could Be There!...

To see and smell all those classic washer loads and detergents. Which explains why I would like to at least collect some decent compatible audios of the wash-in action. Tumble! Tumble! Tumble! Splish! Splash! Splosh! Sploosh! tidal Wave Splash! And agitated right back to the top of the virtual load she goes!--Laundry Shark

Louis, you are welcome by train, plane or any method you choose. I have cake pans for you to pick up ;-)

The train station I posted is the "old" Union Station, now a museum and the Burlington station next door is being converted to apartments and retail space. The Amtrack station is around the corner now and looks like a slightly larger, but very similar to a convenience store.

Now That Really Takes the Cake!

Except that I am more interested in what might be in those cake pans for good eating. *grins* Then, too, a couple of revved up classic Speed Queens would also be a real treat to watch as I munch on dessert. Tumble Action Flips it right to the top!--Laundry Shark

Laundryshark I can assure you that there will be lots of good thngs to eat, why not make plans to attend!!! round and round she goes and right back on top where she belongs!!
