Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

of course our Toggles should be 150...

the 150 was a landmark cleaner for Hoover...

Everyone keep those registrations coming in!! You don't want to be left out!!! Back to the top she goes.

Everyone keep those registrations coming in!!

Thank you Terry, I almost forgot. Mine is now in the mail, YAY! Can't wait to see everyone down in Omaha next month.

"Can't wait to see everyone down in Omaha next month."

....and I wish I could say that would be able to see you-all, but alas - vacation is not in the near future for me.

But at least I can move the fun back up to the top! :-)

Hello Applianceville!

Greetings from the Chairman of the VCCC Convention in Omaha!

I love seeing all the responses here and can't wait to see you all in Omaha. Some of you I met at Greg's two years ago.

We are so fortunate and thankful that the two interests are coming together for the FIRST time this year. Hopefully, it will be repeated in the future.

Through this site and some of the members, I purchased my first front loading washer, (a Whirlpool disguised as a Kenmore), and am now more than ever into washing!! My white clothes have never been this white! I watch the machine through the door with a flashlight............yikes!

(Thanks to Terry Lattz's advice, aka "Concetta Slattz" over at the VCCC site)

I hope we can get some of you to take the plunge as I did! The world of appliances has no boundaries and washers and vacuums are only a small part of it.

Hope to see lots of washer, vacuum, blender, toaster, Vita-Mix, fans, mangle, dryer, waffle iron, mixer, can opener, etc., folks in Omaha.

Where else can you get together and have this much fun?

Charlie

Charlie, aka,Helen, you are so right there. There is no where else you will have as much fun as you will have at the gathering in Omaha. If any of you out there are having trouble deciding if you should attend I sure hope that you decide to do so. You will have one of the best times ever and meet so many fantastic friends. YAY for high speed spin and back to the top she goes.!!!!

Come join the fun... help us find Terry's shorts...only a couple of weeks away...Robert will be there... of course he has to dismantle a few machines looking for Terry's shorts, but we should be able break him away for a while.

Terry, have you checked your vacuum collection...perhaps you sucked them up while cleaning up after the last event!!!

Terry thanks for answering my questions; it was appreciated! Put on the coffee, I made my plane, car, and hotel reservations and I put the registration in the mail today. I get in on Friday morning and leave on Saturday evening. I wish I could be there for the whole thing, but oh well, I know Friday night at Greg’s will be a blast!

Jeff, I’m glad you’re going, and coooool, Allen is going to be there, too!

And Robert, I heard a rumor that you broke your shaft tap dancing? I’m not even going to ask, but it will be GREAT to see you again!

I can’t wait to see everyone.

Jeff it will be great to see you again. Hopefully you don't have to leave until late on Saturday night. Glad I could help with the questions. With "Pulsator Action" away she goes back to the top!!!

make my arrival on Thursday night

depending on what my Stat teacher and my investments professor have in mind that day, cause even though my last class ends at 12:15 I want to get in on the fun ASAP.

Back to my Accounting book and the top!

My goodness...

Who let this fall to #34 in the line-up or threads?

Tsk..tsk..

I'll be in Omaha! Looking forward to meeting new (washer) people and taking part in my first wash-in!

Instead of guests bringing a dish to pass, are they required to bring a bag of dirty clothes? What is the proper etiquette?

:)

~Fred

I might try to go. Never mind seeing your awesome, spotless, studio and push-button Maytag collection. And the cool vac convention.
No, ... I want to see where "Children of the Corn" was filmed. Still I can't find Gatlin, NE when I google it? hmmm.
"They've come for you too, MALACHIIIII-I-I !"

Bringing dirty clothes?

Everyone will be wearing dirty clothes so we won't have a problem finding things to wash. You've read the saga of Terry's missing shorts, somewhere I have pics of a couple of our members less than fully clothed... Who will be the "life of the party" this time?

What is the proper etiquette?

Etiquette with this group Fred, I think you can guess what that is ;) and you can bring a dish to pass, as long as the dish is dirty and ends up in one of Greg's dishwashers!

Mike (Chestermike from the UK who will be flying here to Minnie) and I will be leaving on Thursday morning and we should be to Omaha (despite the full truck) sometime in the mid afternoon. I can't wait you guys, this sure will be fun.

Greg, you shouldn't have put that picture of me up there!!!LOL Just a word of advice keep track of your shorts!! And a 1140rpm spin back to the top!!

eww, thats a statement that carries a heavy load.
I don't know if I would touch that with a 10 inch pole.
I, I mean 10 foot pole.

Wash-in Info

Sorry if this is repetitive, but just the wash-in portion is on the 14th right? And the other question is where exactly is the address of the wash-in? I'm trying to decide if I can make it or not and try to plan stuff. Thanks for the info!

Jon
