Hi All...this thread to annunce that my beloved Servis MK2 is at work again...don't know if you remember the bad story regarding shipping which destroyed it's knobs and timer...
Not for last all the successive things like, the belts and spinner lid lever, various troubles..
Well, thanks to a very kind member, Austin (Ozzie908) who kindly sent me timer, lots of spare belts and all the spare knobs and pilot light, I managed to get to not only it working, but with all original knobs and timer!
So this thread and video is to thank you Austin and I dedicate this load to you as per your request I attach pics and video (as always not of the best ones, would you gentlemens and ladies forgive me for my lack of videomaker skills, recording with a phone and operating a machine at the same time isn't easy as it may seems).

Here is a colored wash, washed at aprox 60°c (mixed from the tap, no heating feature used), detergent used Mexican Ariel.

Thank you for the advice and comment, I'll try even the WD 40... I tried Trichlorethylene and various solvents that usually worked, just do not know about this particular tape mark, these solvents were just like "fresh water"....
What the heck of tapes you guys have up there in UK??? LOL

To remove the adheasive left behind from the tape

Try rubbing with ordinary cooking oil and an old rag.
It really works .
Glad you have your machine working, they are lovely machines to use.

Thank you for all the advices the suggestions worked fine, used both WD 40 (that weakened the adhesive) and then turpentine, I tried Corn Oil also before but it just didn't work for me....
Thank you all for commenting, just wanted to share with all of you this amazing machine, and donprohel I don't hate just because you said what you think of course, everyone luckily got it's own tastes... :)
Austin! Without you it would not have been possible, thank you again for your generosity and kindness.
Here some shots of yesterday night load on the clothesline, now fully dried, one of the few times I hang laundy out and don't use the dryer....(It was busy)...

Perfectly Clean, of course:

The Phoenix

Hello Freddy
This is great news that not only is your very nice machine working, but you have all the correct parts for it, it has taken some time but it is well worth it, and it is also very good that you like to use it (and your kitten likes to watch)

So congratulations on your machine

And thanks to Austin for helping him so much with this

Gary

Ps you have a very nice view from your balcony

Ah Ah...thank you! Yes I'm so happy to have this machine working and with all the original things thanks to Austin's donor! That's a dream! I couldn't hope in such generosity and luck! It seemed impossible task to find all the spares indeed I was lucky! And I'm so glad for it!
Regarding the kitten, well the boy really likes to watch and stays still watching at what I do for all the time, really! This as long as I don't operate the spinner, otherwise the boy gets scared and runs behind the sink curtain or under the table....the same do when the filter flo starts spinning, ....or I'm vacuuming or someone's hair drying or using the osterizer etc..... he always runs away, even though my CGE vacuum is the most quiet vacuum I ever seen!
Thank you for the compliment for the view, well a cemetery isn't just what everyone would love to have out the window, suggestive location for the 31st of Octoer though.....LOL
Jokes apart...
I like the rest, great view of countryside, my location is really nice is the only part in the town that is almost countryside beig though very close to the town center.
but as a countryguy I'm looking forward to move to my father's farm (you just have to folllow the cemetery road for 2km)...that's the place for me.....
Sorry for the off topic, but I take the occasion to share the place here as I never did before, hope you don't mind:
