As you may know I have just sold a MK 2 Servis twin tub.
It was working perfectly but the new owner has now got a problem with it.
The spinner is causing the electric to trip.
Not always but intermittently, having ruled out water getting into the electrics I am not sure what the problem could be.
The guy who bought it is a lovely fella called Gary , he is " one of the boys" and although I didn't sell it with any guarantees I would like it to work correctly for him as this was his dream machine.
Thanks for any help or advice.
Best
Lance

Hi Lance , good to catch up earlier, if Gary is reading this "Welcome" to the club, a few questions would be..

Is the spinner tripping when its run Dry or when water is present?

If with water is it when pumping sudsy water out from transferring water from washtub to spinner? or when using the rinse nozzle for flow rinsing?

It could be water running over the top seal bellows and dripping on the electrics and / or motor.... or water spraying from a leak underneath, pump / seal or outlets pipe.

I would suggest unplugging from mains, taking the back off and to see if any leaks / wet patches present, if its a slow drip might be work taping some rigid plastic covering over the motor or electrical loom to avoid the tripping...

The thin flexipipe from the spinner inlet nozzle to the spin can rinse nozzle (runs under the washdeck) can split apart when using with high pressure mains water, have done this myself and it did drip water onto the motor tripping the electrics on mine, I just avoided using the flow rinse and hosed the rinse water straight into the spin tub...

Let us know how you get on Gary!!

Thanks for advice, had back off and the spin rise hose does leak! Looks like that was the problem.
