Servis Quartz 601

Hello all

I finally have a fully working Servis Quartz 601 with the spincare drum that I thought I'd share with you. I have two other Quartz's awaiting repair - a 6030 with a spincare drum which works apart from the heating cycle and a 6035 which needs more attention.

This one is in great condition and working really well considering its over 30 years old. The people I got it off had had it from new and were sad to see it go but were redoing their kitchen. Here's the first picture of the wash level - I'd forgotten how high these go! For some reason the camera doesn't always pic up the progress LEDs. Both the heat and wash ones were lit up at this point.

Oops - that link was the final spin. The one below is the interim one. As I've said on the video description, I think these interim spins could either have been a bit longer or perhaps had a couple at a time as the machine doesn't really get rid of the soapy water even with the flush and pump at the end. It might be that our modern powders are more frothy that the older formulas so it used to work better. I'll have to do some trial and error with a few types.

another great machine you have yourself there, built in the days when computer controlled machines had the build quality and performance to go with it.
