Servis Slimline 1000 Washing Machine

This machine came in a house we recently bought. Lovely working condition - must be early 80's or late 70's vintage?

As much as I love old things unfortunately it has been replaced by our more modern machine.

Its a "Servis Electronic Slimline 1000" and its in Low Bentham, nr Lancaster. If anyone wants it then I can bring it to my work at M6 J33 one day.

Are these machines worth anything? Seems such a shame to consider junking a piece of our history especially when it works!

Can be worth a fair bit.....

Similar machines can go on eBay for anything upto approx £70.

I'd put it on there & see what you get - might be worth arranging for the auction to finish after Xmas when more people will be looking though - seems abit quiet on there at the moment, people probably tied up with other things.
