Speaking of which, I brought both my Y fitting and the two one way valves and they are 19 mm , I’m planning to use some radiator hose to run from the Wash/spin tubsThrough the check valve and finish at the Y fitting Would 19 mm be okay to fit the wash and spin tubs?

I see no reason why 19mm won't work the 17mm pushes onto the hose snugly so as long as you tighten the clamps around the ends I see no issue. Pics and what have you please we like to see what's happening....

Of what I’m currently using as a modern twinline hose replacement, As I am hoping to make it into a single hose like a standard washing machine,I’m using two Fisher and pykal dish drawer hosesHow’s the modern equivalent to the original twinline hose, I’m planning to replace the hose that runs from the washtub/spin tub with radiator hoses As they would be able To handle the temperature of the hot water coming out of the washtub, Please do excuse the zip ties around the motor as they are what prevents the motor from twisting around when it starts, as due to the pulley that is now on there the original belt is too short for it so this is how I got it to work

I think your machine will heave a sigh of relief when it gets the newer 2in1 pipe fitted as the F&P dish drawer pipes are too narrow to allow the water to escape as quickly as intended. Its an ingenious work around to carry you over till you do it though

I’m not sure if the bearings have gone for the spinner, have a bit of a listen in comparison between these two Wilkins servis machines The first one is what I think it should sound like, The second one would be what mine would sound like

I would say they need a good oiling including the pump as its sounding like its been dry for some time. If you can get at the bearings easily enough drop some oil in them see if it helps...

I would turn the whole thing upside down and run oil down the spinner shaft and yes ok the bearings may want replacing but its not as bad as some I have encountered.

I’m not sure who you’re calling Austin, the names Adam

I’m a little bit worried about flipping the machine over as Wouldn't any oil or grease from the transmission leak out of the transmission and onto the machine internally? Also would the Transmission have a breather hole of some sort? I don’t want to flip it over until after I hear back

Hi Adam I have posted all my replies to you same as I have this one !!

I believe there is a breather hole but it should not be too hard to locate and stop it up.

Have not encountered any major leaking of oil when I have turned mine over I don't leave it too long just enough to oil the moving parts I cannot get at normally !

I just lay it on its side on a towel or blanket and then tip it right over its not going to take long to oil the spinner bearing and don't for get the pump you will be surprised how much quieter it will be.

I flipped it over and was

Easily able to get to the pump bearing although I had a bit of an issue getting to the main spin bearing as it is underneath a dome/cup shaped pulley So what should I do in regard to that?

You could if you felt brave enough remove the spin pulley to allow you to get to the bearing, Or spray it with aerosol oil which may help but won't be as long lasting. If you are going to remove the dome pulley put the machine on its side so as to prevent oil spillage from the gearbox when you have it removed you can up end it to oil it.

Neither that's the front with knobs and the back with hoses

I tend to put them spinner side upwards as its lighter to lift.

Hi Adam there is a pin through the pulley that you have to remove it may take a bit of persuasion to get it off but they are pretty solid so a bang or 2 with a hammer often does it.

If you can send me a pic I can be more specific.
