You know, I find articles like this one fascinating.
Mostly because - who cares?
We are what we are. Straight, bi, gay, self acceptance is vital. Articles like this are simply trying to use 'science' to give people validity.
For any individual there are always others who will love, like, dislike, hate him. <Shrug>. In terms of particular groups (gay men, gay men, Jews, Muslims, Christians of various flavors) there are always counter groups that hate them.
Ultimately it is how we perceive ourselves and how we accept ourselves that matter.
For the record, I think studies like this are very, very, very suspect mostly because the statistical universe of people who are being studied is WAY too small. I think toggleswitch in post 406103-1/14/2010-16:09 above is absolutely right.
