Anybody interested in the dukane incline again?
I know it is cheesy as hell, but I thought it was one of the coolest things ever.

If I had time....
I would love to see falling water again....that would take an entire extra day though.....

I had thought I might get to come and meet everyone, but I've had some major expenses in the last couple weeks. First the fallen oak tree, and now I have to have a tooth taken out next week. I also need to go visit my aunt in Mississippi mid-summer as she is turning 90 the end of July, and I need to get new tires for my Escape before then. Pittsburgh is about 5 hrs. away, and that would be a lot of driving to go there and back in one day.
I just wished I wasnt so far away. Guess I will have my own wash in sometime in the next week or so when I can use the old '48 Kenmore in the shed and the clothesline without this constant rain, cold and gloom.

If you are riding the incline, the fare is $2.50 in cash each way (up/down)in exact change, so please bring four one dollar bills and $1.00 in quarters. For those at home wondering where the catchy name came from...here it is direct from Wikipaedia:
Fort Duquesne (/du¢°ˈkeɪn/, French: [dyken]; originally called Fort Du Quesne) was a fort established by the French in 1754, at the convergence point of the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers in what is now downtown Pittsburgh in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.It was destroyed by the British, and replaced by Fort Pitt in 1758. The site of both forts is now occupied by Point State Park, where the outlines of the two forts have been laid in brick.
