Shipping Companies- Kitchen Aid Dishwasher Weight

Does anyone recommend good shipping companies for quoting shipping of appliances from California (LA) to Washington (Seattle). Do they crate it too?

I looking in to purchasing an older Kitchen Aid dishwasher (model KD-12P) from LA California to Seattle Washington (then I will pick it up from a friends place - Thank you Brian from our site!! This will save the border / customs hassles) Does anyone have this model and know what might be the weight of this beast (are they close 200lbs)?

I would say they are prob around 150 to 175lbs. Try YouCrate, that is how I shipped my Apex Dish-a-Matic.
