Got one of these last year and delighted with it: got a used one made in 2008,and installed 120v lights and exhaust fan and about to install 12v electrical.these things are very rugged and stormproof.Building a small workshop in one end while the rest will house my antique 1917 Dodge. I got the 20 foot version,40 foot is also common.Mine was ~$2500,basicly new "one trip" was ~4500. Used a small bulldozer to flatten out an area for it in the back yard :)

I might insulate the workshop area and install a small AC in there-the 10"exhaust fan installed probably will not keep things comfy when it is 100* :) there are companies that make insulating panels that fit the corrigated walls. For winter heat, will install a couple 5KW diesel fueled "parking heaters"-i have had one of these in my moon shack for a couple years and like it.Also might add a man door since the end doors are not operable from inside.

There are even some hotels called Snoozebox where the rooms are made from shipping containers. Incredibly well designed each room containins bathroom facilities and apparently able to sleep up to three persons. Having stayed in one several times on my own I think it would be snug for two persons and I cannot see how three would be comfortable at all. For one it was not bad and each has its own air conditioning. It does have the benefit that if a site might be redeveloped in future for something else the "rooms" are easily dismantled, the reception/bar/ food facilities are just wooden so again easily dismantled
