Guys, would you please suggest a showerhead for my apartment?
What I have today is a cheap Moen with 2 jets (rain and massage that looks like a waterpik, and I mean the oral irrigator)
Anyway, it is one of those High efficiency craps that no matter what setting it is and even with both taps open at full, the showerhead looks like it's peeing on me.
And everything in the bathroom is brand new, so it's the showerhead that limits the water flow.
What i need:
1) It must have a hand shower (because nobody deserves washing the shower walls with a small bucket and as a good brazilian, i WASH instead of using sprays (and before some of you freak out, the ceramic tile walls are very well sealed so i can wash with no problems)
2) I don't really care about having 525645462455 different spray patterns. I just want a shower that has a huge volume of water (not exactly pressure, but volume) I like to feel tons of water falling on my body when i'm rinsing and i don't care if the bathtub drain won't be enough for such volume of water.
3) The apartment has an absurd water pressure (i love it) and I want to take full advantage of it. The bathtub fills super fast (under 2 minutes) and if i remove the showerhead it's almost like a fire hose.
4) I don't need to worry about water savings as I use the shower only to rinse. I use the bathtub 100% of my baths (it means at least twice a day during the winter and 3x per day during the summer). Eco-nazis, please don't judge me. I use the shower for average 1 minute so, no harm done.
5) I don't want anything vintage, used, old, refurbished, whatever. it has to be 100% new in box.
6) I don't want and I can't spend a fortune on a showerhead. Specially because it's a rental apartment. (ok, i know i can take it with me when i move but it's the kind of thing i really don't care.) So if it's possible to keep it, let's say, under $50 or $60. i'll really love that.
7) If it's one of those high efficiency craps (probably 100% of the showerheads sold today are HE) it must be possible to remove that flow restrictor. (the showerhead i have had absolutely no difference when i removed it)
8) I prefer wide ones. I hate those tiny heads that look like a lawn sprinkler.
9) The metal fixtures are chrome, so no brushed nickel, s'il vous plait.
10) did I mention the hose (hand shower?) just in case, i'll repeat. It must have a hand shower. I don't care if it's only the hand shower with a stand or a shower head with a separate hand shower.
11) I need it BEFORE the weekend, when i'm going to wash the bathroom again. So it has to be something i can simply drive to "Homeless Depot" or "Blowe's" and get.
