have very viable but very used machine and parts machine but need tower as mine is very corroded. the biggest problem is the shaft splines at the bottom wear out and the agitator stops driving. I have been making shims with heavy gauge galvanized tin and beating grooves in it to match the shaft splines, then driving the tower-shaft-tub assembly on to the transmission with a hammer and a block of wood. Usually lasts for several months. The machine doesn't leak but some water must get in there as there is rust that helps wear out the splines. I may try to engineer something better but hate to try dissassemby of the shaft cause the tower will crumble. I need another machine perhaps or does anyone know where to source shaft part#10495 or tower (post)10532. I am guessing new tower has a seal in it.

new trans. gear to match would be good. My local small town repair guy said he was hoarding the last new tower he had but now says he cant find it. Where is a good place to look? Does the british servus unit have the same tub? Help! Please tell me about available machines. Thanks in advance Am in central alberta canada

parts for supertwin

After much reading of various threads I have been able to determine the Wilkins serves washer spinner portables made for Canada branded Simplicity st5,st4 were in fact mk3 model 70 without the heater. Could someone tell me what the drive shaft to the agitator from transmission part # is there in England or where I might enquire?
