Hello,
I said in another thread about this dryer but it’s not switching to cool-down, when I hit cool it just turns off the element and motor but the ON light stays on. There is a separate control board with only 2 components, wonder if that’s the issue?

Update

The fan belt was glued together but snapped when I wasn’t paying attention to the dryer I came to the dryer still running but without the fan also was a weird smell in the air and the ammeter was reading 19 amps! so I shut it off and took it apart to remove the element, I turned the machine on without the element and drum inside and the ammeter was reading 1.5 amps, so I concluded the element died.
Shame as I don’t have a spare element to fit the dryer.
