"Still works properly". Good thing it comes with a 14 day warranty.

MAYTAG WASHER - FREE DELIVERY - $60 (South Whitehall)

Working Maytag Washer. $60 OBO Includes free delivery. Credit accepted.

Comes with a 14 day warranty.

Older model. Stain shown on inside of third picture. It isn't anything that chips away, it's just a stain that I can't figure out how to remove. Still works properly. This model does not agitate the clothing, it soaks the clothing, then spins, rinses, and repeats.
Model Number: A407
Dimensions: 25.5"w x 27"d

We can also remove your non-working appliance for free.

Email or call/text 484-619-3218. Mention W117 when contacting us! Electric dryers also available. Other washers available as well.

We are just teachers trying to earn some extra money for our families. Hopefully we can help you out too!

Oh, this must be one of the rare Maytag 'zero-motion, non-helical, non-orbital' drive systems.... (ducks and runs for cover from items thrown by Maytag owners....)

EEESH!  They must be teaching creative writing!

Considering they're teachers (which subject we don't know), one would think they'd know the difference between what S-O-A-K spells and what W-A-S-H spells.

Truth ... I know of a situation that went on with an A206 for some months until the machine was replaced with a new KM DD.

(The A206 was given to me.  I found the water level pressure hose was cracked somewhere coming up from the tub.)

The machine had developed a leak.  The fellow (a long-time friend) discovered that it'd run and not leak (well, I suppose not nearly so much) if he let it fill to a certain low level then advance the timer until the motor kicked on.  So he did that for the wash period (advance the fill to immediate spin/drain), then again for the rinse period ... not realizing that there was never any agitation happening (because of those infernal kill-everything Maytag lid switches).  Liquid detergent was probably being used so no undissolved powder was to be seen.

He was very much pleased with how much cleaner his clothes came out of the new machine.  :-)

also, the 407 delicate cycle is alternating agitate and soak periods and if you don't set it properly at the beginning of the wash cycle, you miss almost any agitation for the delicate cycle.

Non Agitating MT Washer

They just don't realize that it is stopping when they open the lid, LOL.

That rust stain is pretty serious, it would surly leave stains on clothing in the washer for a while, the washer needs another tub.

I am glad they also have electric dryers available [ wounder if they are the non-tumbling type ] but I don't think I would want to buy a GAS dryer from them.

Teacher to student: " what did you do to our educational Maytag washer?"

Student: " Don't know, we were just playing with the dial and it got stuck on delicate".
