Singer 5'n1 coffee maker

I just got a coffee maker at a yard sale, it is made by the
Singer company. it has a carrying handle and is a grind and brew. Look's to be late 70's or early 80's it is very differnt than the coffee makers of today.
does anyone has info on this? I would take a picture of it but I don't have a camera.

Does it actually grind coffee beans? I've never even heard of a Singer coffee maker especially one that would do that, some of the news one do.

Yes Petek it does grind the coffee beans. It will also make ice coffee. It has a special plate that you put over the heating element and fill the pot with ice, the plate keeps the pot from getting hot and when it brews you have ice coffee.

Like a lot of companies, Singer branched out in the 60's and 70's and bought up smaller companies doing things as un-related to sewing machines as mechanical calculators. Some of these acquisitions failed and were shut down, due to Singer's management or market conditions or both.
