I am jealous. Have never been a fan of Ariel, but I would have bought that just to get my hands on some to give it a whirl.

I'd be very interested to hear what you have to say about it.....don't forget to increase the dosage for a full load in your top-loader AND to use the longest cycle.

Question on Ariel

Hi Chris,
Should I use a larger dose in the top loader,I ask because I am assuming this would be formulated for F.L.'s,and would it help if I dissolved it in a jug of hot water before adding it, or just bung it in the dispenser?,also stopped to think for a minute before buying as I am not really a fan of fabric softener and I think Lenor is a F.S, but I guess 1 bag wont do any harm.
Thanking you in advance.
Steve.

Country of origin will pretty much tell you if it's front or top load. Basically, if it's European, which I think it is, it'll be for front loaders.

Use the 'soft water' (lowest) dose for a small load and double that for a full load.

...and if you don't like it, I'll be in Sydney next weekend....

We can buy this Ariel over here in WA from our local Euro Deli, i think its Polish, they also have the Lenor fabric softeners which are very similar to the UK Lenors.

I have some Ariel 'Prozim' with Lenor Relaxation that I use on my towels occasionally, works great on whites though :-)

Hope You Like It

Matty,

What other washing products have you got available in that fantastic sounding deli and how much a bag is that detergent or any others that they have available?

If you're up for it, I'd happily pay the cost plus the $23 postage to give it or something else a whirl.

Hi Steve

It's funny to see this Ariel on this page, 'cos I see it every day here in Slovenia when I go to the Supermarket :)

It's made in Czech Republic, like quite all of the P&G detergents for our market and others East European Countries.
(and it's obviously formulated for front loaders as you have already figured out by yourself)
I haven't tried this version with lenor but the regular one and it's good, I would only say the the scent is quite strong.
Now this "complete 7" version is slowly disappearing because they are introducing the new "3D Active" version.

So... Ariel, than Ariel M-zim 5, than Ariel Pro-zim 7, than Ariel complete 7 and now the last version Ariel 3D active.

have fun with your new detergent :)

They have a variety of Ariels in different size bags and also Lenors in big bottles (think 2L milk size). They also have a detergent called Merix but that comes in a huge 9kg bag. Also a softener called Duel but i didn't think much of the one I tried. This was all before I left for England over a month ago, things could have changed so will have to go check soon.

But yes I would be happy to send a bag along maybe as a swap because I wanted to try some Aldi detergent as we don't get the store over here and it seemed to come out top in a lot of reviews.

Matt

You're on!

I'm not fussed on anything with softener in it, but would love to try some others.....and I prefer detergents that don't reek, if that makes sense....

Name what you'd like to try from Aldi and it's yours...
