You know the fridgidare skini mini washer? what does the agitator look like i cant seem to see it?

Any more pics than the ones i have seen?

Turnover

I have a skinny mini also. It actually does have a decent turnover if you don't overload it. It also holds more clothes than the WCI machines that followed it. It was ahead of its time.

Todd--I saw an early WCI Skinni-Mini in White/Gold when I bought the '82 Kenmore last weekend. Almost jumped up until I saw that unmistakeable third dial. Opened the lid and saw the Franklin "angel-wing" agitator (like in Robert's Wizard only white) and an unbearably small plastic tub with the flimsy rear-mounted recirculating lint filter. This machine was the epitome of useless and impractical; you could barely wedge one pair of jeans into it! And I bet that dryer took forever!

I saw a white GM version in the back of the local used-appliance store (was still being used; otherwise I would have taken it in a heartbeat), and I peeked inside. The Agitub was the largest tub I've ever seen in a 24" laundry center.

interesting machine

I have never had the privilege of watching one of these machines. Maybe one day. Thanks for the pic. How does the agi-tub system work ? Does the whole tub agitate with the agitator, or do they move independently of one another ?

The tub and agitator is all one piece, and the whole thing moves together. It's really quite interesting and unique. As Todd pointed out, it's not a bad action at all long as you don't over load it. I was with Rich when he got the machine so I got to be one of the first to see it in operation, the first time I had ever seen one operate.
