So the new laundry room is taking shape -- plumbing in the process of being roughed in (cold water for now) and eventually 220V for the clothes dryers. I am envisioning a wash-in in the future..!

Wow It Looks Great Todd, keep us posted as you make progress, you may have a little trouble installing 220 volt power however as there is no such thing in the US, LOL but please keep us posted.

Thanks, Bob. I thought it might be a Norge, but something about the lid and cycle dial made me think of Penncrest or a Franklin-based machine like Wizard or Coronado.

Hi Todd, You have some beautiful sets there. I especially like all of the turquoise sets. The white Kenmores are beautiful too. Your laundry is nice and sunny with lots of windows. I no longer collect but I am happy to see there are still collectors who restore, maintain and have fun with their machines. Take care, Dano
'66 Kenmore Set
This is for Mark, who asked for more pics of my 1966 Kenmore set. Another member on this site has the same set, same color. Of interest is the agitator, which is not Bakelite, but polypropylene. Unfortunately, I do not have the dryer hooked up so I couldn't show off its lighted console or drum. Enjoy!

1966 Kenmores
Beautiful machines Todd, MOL and up KMs and WPs during this time period were about the best performing laundry pairs the world had seen up to this point in time. It is easy to see why between WP and Sears models that WP was already dominating the home laundry market, they were like the General Motors of laundry appliances during this time.
I have the exact same pair of fully restored KMs here on the east coast that need a home if anyone is interested contact me, thanks John L.

What happened to the coppertone Kenmores?
Not to worry...
The coppertone '64 Kenmores are alive and well (just replaced the washer motor but now the machine is squealing a bit when kicking into spin -- suspect it's the spin tube). In addition to the laundry room, there is a hall indoor laundry closet for my "special" machines -- that's where the coppertone Kenmores live. And there are also hook ups in the garage where my 1-18's currently reside.

Beautiful 1964 Copper-Tone Pair
Nice pair Todd, nobody did the shaded Copper-Tone color as well as WP-KM, most other brands had too much contrast between the base color and the shading.
