Small rust appearing

on drain pans of a wringer washer I saw on Kijiji, anyone know how to deal with it if I bought the washer?

That sort of thing happens when moisture finds its way through the chrome via tiny pinholes. Once you scrub it off, you can seal the pinholes with wax every time you use it to keep the rust at bay, or you can send the part out to be stripped and re-chromed. I think you might be surprised by how well the part cleans up.[this post was last edited: 3/9/2021-11:37]
